Activist Badee’ Dwaik at the International League for Human Rights – Berlin, Germany | 30/11/2023
The International League for Human Rights in Berlin hosted activist Badee Dwaik, who gave a detailed presentation on the situation in Palestine, highlighting the latest developments and Israeli measures, particularly in the city of Hebron.
The seminar began with a welcome address by Claus Förster one of the board members of the League, who also directs the seminar.
The session included a Q&A and discussions with the audience, who showed great interest and engagement with the topic.
A short video documented by activist Imad Abu Shamsieh, the current president of the association, was also presented, illustrating recent developments on the ground prior to the main presentation.
The seminar concluded with answers to questions regarding the role of the camera in the resistance and in supporting the Palestinian narrative, as well as discussions on shifts in Western public opinion concerning the Palestinian cause.
This came despite some Western governments continuing to support or collude with the Israeli occupation, while other institutions limited themselves to statements without taking concrete steps to hold Israel accountable for its crimes.
